Great Pyramid of Giza

The Great Pyramid of Giza was the tallest man-made structure in the world for almost 3,800 years, until Lincoln Cathedral was built in England.

Nile River

The Nile River stretches over 6,650 kilometers, making it one of the longest rivers in the world, and traditional sailboats called feluccas still cruise it today.

Khan el-Khalili Bazaar

Khan el-Khalili is a bustling market that has been trading spices, jewelry, and souvenirs in Cairo since the 14th century.

The Egyptian Museum

It was found almost untouched, which almost never happens.'Untouched' = intocada.

A body preserved on purpose, to last.'Preserved' = preservado.

That exhibit alone takes an hour.'Exhibit' = peça/mostra exposta.

Only part of the collection is on display.'On display' = exposto.

Tea in the bazaar

The tea is hospitality, not a sales trick.'Hospitality' = hospitalidade.

A market that has been trading since the 1300s.'Trading' = comerciando.

They will insist, and that's part of it.'Insist' = insistir.

The Nile

Everything else is desert. The water is all here.'Desert' = deserto.

Koshari and street food

Old Cairo

Crossing the street

Here honking means 'I see you', not 'get out'.'Honk' = buzinar.
